Our next ‘Sit and Knit’ meeting will be held on Sunday 4 May 2008. Knitters who are making beanies for the Alice Springs Beanie Festival please bring along your finished beanies and tea cosies for judging in our ‘Minie Beanie and Teacosie Competition’. The Guild will arrange to send the beanies/tea cosies to Alice Springs.
The Guild are again having the front window display at Ross House through out the month of May. If you have any ‘Winter Warmer’ items – scarves, hats, gloves, jumpers etc and would be happy to have them showcased in the window during the month of May, please bring them along to the May ‘Sit and Knit’.
The creation of the blanket to be raffled at our Wool and Craft Fair (31 May 2008 – Brunswick Town Hall) is progressing well. We need to finish the blanket a.s.a.p. so volunteers who have not yet handed in their samples, please bring your complete knitting to the May ‘Sit and Knit’.
New members are always welcome – so please come and join in at one of our ‘Sit and Knit’ meetings.
