Wednesday September 24 – The Melbourne Fringe Festival K2TOG Public Art Project will be on display for one day only – Wednesday 24 September. Knitters who participated in the project will meet at 1.00 p.m. on the steps of St Paul’s Cathedral, Swanston Street, Melbourne. The knitting project will be on display along Swanston Street and on selected Melbourne Tram routes.

Our next ‘Sit and Knit’ meeting is on Sunday 3 August 2008 at 2.00 p.m. The colour for August will be any shade of brown, so start knitting your whimsies.
Annual General MeetingThe Handknitters Guild Annual General meeting will be held at 1.30 p.m. on Sunday 4 August 2008 (prior to the ‘Sit and Knit’ meeting). All members are welcome to attend. All positions on the committee are declared vacant and nominations are then received to fill these positions for the next year. Think about putting your hand up to come on to the Committee or nominate yourself as a ‘helper’.
