The Guild Committee have been busy inviting stallholders for this years market, organising our own retired books stall and completing this years raffle blanket. The market will happen on Sunday 21 May at the Coburg Town Hall, from 10am to 3pm. Entry is free. Many of our regular stallholders are coming back and some new ones have come onboard to keep it interesting. We are still supporting Victorian yarn makers and dyers that mostly do not have shops, online or in the world. This makes the Yarn and Craft Market a unique opportunity to meet the makers, see and feel their yarns and products, stock up your stash, and support the Guild.
Some of the stall holders returning this year are Ixchel Angora Fibres & Yarn, Nanny’s Spin On Things, Miss Click Clack, Shiloh Wool, Metafour Studio, Dyed By Hands Yarns, Cat & Sparrow, Lara Downs, Kaye Adolphson Designs, Raxor Yarns & Fibres, Changeling Yarns, Coloured Jules, Push My Buttons, The Craft Circle, Crafty Yarns, Yarn Barn, Fibreyarncraft. New this year are: Wool Days, OziFarmer, NotAnotherHat, Wool2yarn, and Heathermaid.
There will also be Guild member’s stalls including, Barbara’s project bags and knitted accessories, Sadie with hand dyed silk gradient yarns, Angela’s fun project bags, Kay’s preserves, cards and handmade items, Maryanne and Marg with their tea cosies, and Rose with a stall of knits with her proceeds all going to charity.
If you are as excited as we are about this year’s market you can download and share this photo sized flyer and tell everyone.
